Wednesday’s follow through has futures flirting with triple digit gains. Gains are limited to 90 points so far but showing strength. The US Dollar index futures dropped below 90 on Tuesday, testing support from December 17 at 89.64. Monday’s delayed weekly cotton classing report showed another 697,802 upland bales classed during the week ending on 12/24, bringing the total to 12.009 million bales. The Seam reported 20,892 bales sold on Monday, at an average price of 70.53 cents. The 12/29 Cotlook A index was 20 points higher to 82.85. The USDA AWP is 62.01 cents per pound through Thursday.
